View Full Version : Dropshotting Bubba Style
When most of us fish dropshot we think small worms small hooks, basically finese stuff.
for the last 6 months I have been using 4/0 hooks 17-22 lb test line and 10"+ worms and been doing pretty good. Actually getting checks in tournys since doing this.
something for you tourny guys to think about.

No I didnt read that tm,
I picked it up from a friend when we were fishing heavy cover in lake martinez.
went out late last night for a few hours and my daughter did pretty good( we all did) heres her small one

this one was about 2lbs
she had a 5+ on for a long time but it tangled up everyones lines ( 5 of us in 2 boats)
it jumped between 2 boats hitting the consol on one of them then bouncing off mine and coming undone.

Down South we "bubba shot" alot!!! Big plastics on drop shots will get you some hogs.
I like big flukes or the big black 10" worm!!!
