Horney toad mold

I've been pouring the legs in this mold then closing the mold and pouring the rest. Is this necessary or does it work together?

Yes its necc.

however some customers have turned the mold upside down and drilled a hole into the legs to the inside of the curved end.
so they pour the mold upside down(closed) then turn it right side up and pour the body
I have a pic somewhere on how to do it.( as one of my customers told me) and will try to find it.

I havent had much time to try it, but it seems logical and should work.
