Tube Baits

Hey guys i am new to this hobby and i have always loved the fine sport of angling but i had a few questions about tube baits. I mainly fish in saltwater but i do some ocassional bass fishing and i was curious if anybody had some tips on cutting the skirt on the tube baits that i pour in del's tube mold.
