Delw,
In your picture of the chunks how soft is your plastic? Close to what you pour stick baits or a little harder? I'm having a little problem pouring the chunks. I guess I'm being spoiled with 2 sided molds can't get the 1 piece mastered. (Practice....Practice.....I guess)

Steve for Chunks you wanna use either stright plastic w/ out any softener if you decide yo add salt DONT add softener you need these babies to stay on the hook! What I suggest you do is use a pyresx cup then pour a little bit into a small metal pan at a time, this is becomming a lost art since people want speed but if you want those prefect pours it's the only way to go!
Here is a pic of some of my stuff look at the little pans you can get them from lure craft or mabey delw will get them who knows? Also I belive you can get them from wally world. If you need any more help let me know.

Thanks Taylor,
I'll give it a try this weekend. I have over a month to master it. That's how long I have to wait until bass opens here.
Steve
We cant find alum pans around here anywhere. looked pretty hard on the net for a while but couldnt find anyone to get them from cheap.
I have been using the stainless steel measuring cups from walmart and I love them
If I have to heat the plastic in them I place a piece of alum on the burner( a cookie sheet will work also) so the stuff doesnt scortch
When useing these pan or any pan for that matter dont fill over 1/8 full. if you do the plastic will roll down the sides.
Your best pouring control for fine lines is having the pan at almost 90º
