Hey Del,

The 4, 5, 6 and 7" stick baits all say they are .400 diamater in the store. I know that the 4 1/4" is skinnier than the 5 1/4"...I thought the 6 1/4" and 7 1/4" were fatter....

Do you have the accurate diameters? I have a guy that wants to buy me a 6 1/4" mold if I make him some baits, but .400 is skinnier than a GYCB Senko and I don't think that will fly with him.

Thats probally because I did a mass upload using the 4.250 stik when adding to the new store.
Thanks for pointing that out.
I will try to remember to measure a few tomorrow

Delw,

Any progress on the diameters? I just wanted to know what the diameter of each is. I know they aren't all the same... Also, can I order them thicker or thinner with the same length?

I don't believe the bass are measuring the worms, providing they fall horizontally and have the enticing tail wiggle:cool:

Thanks for your input, I did not know that. Is there a point to your comment?

With all due respect,I would be more concerned about the action of the finished product
instead of an exact duplicate. The ease of producing a consistent, easy pouring product would be 2nd on my list.Sometimes a thinner worm produces a bit more action.May I ask you this 1 question, what do you think makes a bass hit a stick-worm of equal lenghts and color, size or action of the worm?

To answer your question, it is the action of the worm that is enticing the hits. I don't think you understand why it is that I am wanting to know the diameters, though. I never said anything about making an exact duplicate to anything. There is a BIG difference between a 7 1/4" stick that is .400" diameter and .600 diameter. Will this make a difference fishing, you betcha, just the same as downsizing to a 4 1/4" worm from a 5 1/4" worm can make a difference.
