before i started this new tread i read many hour's about "air bubbles" on this forum.
but unfortunately still having problems with air bubbles in the plastic.
i'm using a gas stove with aluminium pouringpot
i also use a presto look-a-like pot on gas stove with 20 RPM stirrer

i changed some things like :
- do not shake plastic before pouring
- no stirring with wood stick(moisture/bubbles)
- no stirring from the start
- stir as less as possible, how more i stir how more bubbles appear
- stir very slow
- no fast heating

by changing these things the results a much better than before but can't get rid of them all:mad:

i would like to know how the big company's make there baits because i don't see ANY air bubble in it !!

can anybody help me to reduce the air bubbles ?
if i have to be that careful with stirring, how can i mix colors and glitter properly ? i guess most of the people add color and glitter while pouring...
i was thinking to make the mixture ready, shake it good and pour the next day.

Could it be a plastic-problem ?? i try'd 2 brands

any help would be very appreciated !!!
i think i might have air bubbles in my brains of thinking about it:confused:

i'm still figuring out what's wrong but i'm almost sure there is a problem with the heat stabilizer, it's "gassing"
the plasticizer is also not the right one because my baits are sticky

polyone sold its european plastisol business so i can't get it here
i will talk to my supplier to try to resolve the problems

Its more than likely moisture, or plastic retention.( ie meaning the plastic is too think to allow the bubbles to rise to the surface and pop on there own.)
if you add heat stabilizer do you still get the problem?

Have you tried cooking on the stiove instead of the microwave? stove cooking allows the bubbels to rise to the top and pop sometimes.
